
Eiffel Tower
The Eiffel Tower is not only a classic symbol of tourism in Paris, but tourism in general. The impressive metal structure built in 1889 by the engineer who gives his name has a height of 300 meters and weighs 7300 tons. The Eiffel Tower are not only an essential destination to visit when traveling to Paris because of its tourist and cultural importance but because within the tower is unique shops and restaurants and even a museum that says the history of the monument.
The Eiffel tower is accessed by stairs or elevators except to reach the top which is only accessible by lift. From there you will have a breathtaking view of the city of Paris and you can use the long views to see in detail some points of interest.If you decide to reach the top of the Eiffel Tower is recommended that you bring a jacket as though it may be summer and the temperature does not merit any shelter to visit the city, at the top, 300 meters, the temperature is quite lower the wind blows harder.
Arc de Triomphe
On the world famous Champs-Élysées is the Arc de Triomphe. The monument was begun in 1806 and completed in 1836 concerns the intention of Napoleon to honor the troops who fought in the Battle of Austerlitz. With 50 meters high and 45 wide, the Arc de Triomphe illuminated at night and can see Paris from a preferential location. The Tomb of the Unknowns is a monument attached to the Arc de Triomphe to commemorate soldiers who died during the First World War. Inside the Arc de Triomphe is a museum that tells the story of the monument.
Reaching the roof of the Arc de Triomphe is somewhat tiring so it is better to make this trip to begin the day. However, it is worth making an effort to reach the terrace at night to see the city lights at its best.
Louvre Museum
The building where the famous Louvre museum into a fortress and was the official residence of kings. The beautiful building was added in 1989 the magnificent glass pyramid that today is so representative of the museum. The Louvre is a must when traveling to Paris as one of the most important museums of the world, with thousands of pieces of art, including highlights lasque La Gioconda and the Venus de Milo.
The museum is divided into several collections or sectors: Art of Islam and Oriental Antiquities, Antiquities Greek, Etruscan and Roman, Egyptian Antiquities, Sculptures, art objects, paintings, graphic arts, History of the Louvre and Art of Africa, Oceania, Asia and the Americas.
Notre-Damme
When traveling to Paris can not miss a visit to Notre-Damme, the most important religious building in Paris. The Cathedral of Notre-Damme was begun in 1163 and was completed and the mid-fourteenth century. With an architecture that combines Gothic and Romanesque style building has a Norman enormous beauty and especially in its west face. The cathedral has two towers of 69 meters of which (the south tower) contains the Emmanuel bell, fame spread.
The Paris Opera
Trips to Paris is not complete without a visit to the Opera Garnier (the name by which this building is different the new theater-opera). The beauty of the building that Napoleon III ordered the construction of a formidable performance especially from the Opera Square, a privileged place for your appreciation. Napoleon did not arrive alive at the opening of the Paris Opera but bequeathed this exquisite monument to culture and art that today we see during our trip to Paris.
Today, the Opera Garnier presents mostly ballet and an opera classic sporadically (as this is used for the new opera house).
Only ten minutes from the Louvre, the Paris Opera is a must in the Paris cultural tourism circuit. So remember to visit this site on your next trip to Paris is an experience you will not regret.
Sacre Coeur
This beautiful religious building was begun in 1875 and was completed in 1914. In Paris, the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is one of the most visited by tourists. The beauty of the building reaches 80 meters is really remarkable. Trips to Paris would be incomplete without a visit to this wonderful place of tourist importance, political and, of course, religion.
In combination of Romanesque and Byzantine styles, aesthetics of the Basilica of Sacre Coure is impressive and clearly distinct from older religious buildings are also located in the city of Paris.
